Many messages about masculinity are toxic. This book is a great start to develop young minds and hearts of boys (and their peers + adults) to not feel undervalued and appreciate their different strengths.
There's more to being a boy than being physically tough or emotionally hard. This book is a great starting point to open discussions in classrooms and in families about finding different types of strengths such as showing kindness, respecting yourself and others, knowing when to ask for help, and daring to dream big. The illustrations fit well, giving the book fresh and timeless feel and making sure to be inclusive of all types of boys.
